Sean Kelly and Tracy Piggott for Tri Burgh

Louisburgh will host its first ever Triathlon on Saturday June 5th, It is a Triathlon Ireland sanctioned race and we are hopeful that it will become an established annual one on the circuit.

Full details and online entry are on our website www.triburgh.ie; its Olympic distance 1500m sea swim, 40Km bike (tough), 10Km run (medium).

All proceeds from Tri-Burgh are going to charity (Corrib Mask Rescue). with the Corrib Mask rescue boats looking after water safety on the day.

The famous Sean Kelly (Cycling), Tracy Piggot (Horse racing) and Ian Claxton (swim champion) are taking part so great oppourtunity to meet sporting legends.
