Days Hotel Sponsor Mulchrone and Marrey for Gael Force 6

Pat Jennings proprietor of Days Hotel Castlebar seen here presenting a set of jerseys to Padraig Marrey and Mary Mulchrone from Ballinrobe.

Both Athletes will compete in the Gael Force 6 adventure race, the event starts at Glassin Beach near Killary Forde, Leenane Co Galway.

The event involves running, kayaking, cycling and climbing Croagh Patrick these just some of the obstacles before the gruelling event finishes at Westport house some 65k later.

 The West of Ireland’s famous for its rugged terrain is the host to Ireland biggest adventure race which has a field of over 800 participants

Mary Mulchrone won the ladies section last year and Padraig Marrey was 3rd in the men’s section, here is hoping they do the double this year under the banner of the Days hotel Castlebar.
