Big turnout for the first ever Tri lakes TT league

Round 1 was held an Andrew’s gym Carlistraine and proved a big success with
riders coming from Galway and Castlebar to attend, Tri Lakes itself had the
biggest contingent.

The course was a technical and breeze 18.5k and the rough road made it hard
for the specialists to produce high average speeds.

On the night Tri lakes had a one two, with Western Lakes rider Padraig
Marrey 1st and Keith Hynes 2nd, Nigel Forde from Galway Bay 3rd.
